There is a big gap in technology transfer between industries and educational institutions. Our mission is to act as a catalyst and in one sentence, we wanted to bridge the gap between the industry ....
Thought of the Day Quoted from daily reflection's of Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji Maharaj
THE THREE GUNAS
Once there was a man travelling through a forest, carrying with him a treasure-chest full of valuable
jewels. At a particular spot, three robbers attacked him.
The first robber said, 'Lets us kill him.' The second robber, less blood-thirsty, suggested, 'No, let us
tie him up and rob him.'And so they did. The third robber came back after some time, untied the
man and showed him the way back to safety.
The three robbers symbolize the three gunas. The guans are qualities we all have within us.
The tamasic quality, represented by the first robber, wants to kill our time, energy and talent,
through idleness. The rajasic quality, like the second robber, only wants to immobilize us internally,
through excessive activity, which steals our inner peace. But the sattvic quality, just as the third
robber, returns, once th other two qualities have disappeared, and shows the way back to freedom.
The rajasic and tamasic gunas end with the suffix 'sic' which sounds like 'sick'
These qualities represent unsound health. We must try to cultivate the more spiritual or sattvic
guna. This is the story of our life.
